How it Works and What to ExpectPurchasing a home through Landmark 24 Homes allows for an array of opportunities between our quick move-in homes and pre-sale homes. Both follow different pathways, but have the same result, you living in a newly built home. Transparency, honesty, and education is how our team guides buyers through a long process.
Breaking Down the Process
To better understand the process for buying and building a home with Landmark 24 Homes, it is important to highlight every step, from start to finish. Starting with choosing your homesite and finishing with you moving in, we want to give you peace of mind by helping educate you on every step of the way.
When purchasing a pre-sale home, you are picking a specific homesite and deciding on a floor plan, per the community's offered plans. When purchasing our quick move-in homes, you will be purchasing a home we have designed and began building, that can be purchased at any time.
Once you have chosen your homesite, you write your purchase agreement and submit your mortgage application. With our lending partners, you are able to achieve a trusted and satisfying mortgage loan. Once that is submitted, the most fun part happens; you will be meet in our design center with our design consultant and begin personalizing your new home!
Next, your building permit is secured and construction can begin, but only after your pre-construction meeting with a superintendent of ours. This allows for an opportunity to better understand the construction behind your home, and how things work behind the walls. Construction then begins and progress reports are dispersed periodically. Once more, you will meet with the superintendent for a pre-drywall meeting to see the progress firsthand.
A final mortgage confirmation will be necessary to ensure that status of the home's purchase, and then utilities are connected. A quality inspection takes place by the Landmark 24 team to check for any last minute corrections or fixes that are needed to begin preparing for closing. Once construction is completed, a homeowner orientation takes place to present the final product to you.
Finally, utilities are transferred, you close on your new home and receive your key. You are then ready to move-in and enjoy your new home proudly built by Landmark 24!
Landmark 24 was GREAT when we built our home in Pooler. From the beginning to the closing the people were helpful, things went (almost) according to schedule and since living in the home for almost a year we haven't had any problems and know the home was built right! I'm very thankful for the work they've done, they are continuing to build in our neighborhood and overall the professionalism is wonderful.
